What size is the file?
All files are 100% resizable to your machine's capacity. Here is a YouTube video on how to resize. Click Here
What strips go where?
Glue strips 1- whatever number. You can read the number of strips by the small circle cut out on the comb. Ex: comb 1 has a cut out on the first comb, and comb 2 has a cut out on the 2nd comb. etc.
Do I need to buy a special tool?
Yes and No. Please read the description some files have a precut score and others require the scoring tool ( score stylus or score wheel) machine's regular blade. Here is a video on how to add scores on Design Space Click Here.
What type of paper can I use?
Cardstock that is at least 65lbs and up. I don’t have a preference on brands. I use Michaels or Joann’s. The thicker the paper the more you have to curl the strip.
Do I need to curl my strip?
YES! If you don’t then it’s impossible to build the box. (Unless the box has no curve) You can use any cylinder objects ex: sharpie, highlighter , pencil, etc. The thicker the object the wider the curl.
The thinner the object the tighter the curl.
What glue can I use?
I strongly recommend Beacon 3-in-1 beacon glue. This glue allows you to make mistakes and move things around. When the glue drys it holds strongly. I purchase mine in any craft store or Amazon here is the link.
What is the clear part, where can I buy it?
The clear part is Acetate. You can buy it in any craft store but it’s expensive. I purchase mine on Amazon it’s super inexpensive and you get more here is the link.
